THE BEAUTY OF UNSHAKEABLE FAITH

In Part 1 of A Journey of Faith, we reflected on how trusting God, even in uncertain seasons, becomes a doorway to His marvellous works. In this continuation, we will explore how faith turns simple confessions into extraordinary testimonies.

Faith is blissful, marvellous, and sweet. It may begin with small confessions, but when nurtured, it blossoms into miracles that change our lives and strengthen our testimonies. Faith is indeed the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen (Hebrews 11:1).

It is the anchor that keeps us steady when circumstances look impossible and the spark that ignites miracles in our everyday lives. The beauty of faith is that it not only carries us through trials but also unveils the glory of God in ways that leave us amazed.

From A Whisper Of Faith To A Flood Of Blessings

As a pastor, my wife had the humble responsibility of welcoming visitors who called in for various needs. With limited kitchenware, she would still prepare tea, often taking longer than she wished. One day, in her kitchen, she spoke a simple yet powerful confession: “I am going to believe God for a gas cooker.”

I must admit, my faith was not as strong as hers at that moment, so I stayed silent. Weeks later, God answered in a way that stunned me. A couple relocating to South Africa invited me to their home. Without preamble, the lady pointed to a four-burner gas cooker with its cylinder and said, “I have something for your wife.” I could hardly believe it! Carrying it home, I witnessed the joy and faith of my wife come alive.

Her faith did not stop there. She boldly declared, “I can now believe in God for utensils to serve visitors better.” Within two weeks, a woman pulled up at our home, her car loaded with utensils—special ones at that. Blessings kept flowing—utensils, a carpet, and even a beautiful wall unit. It felt like heaven’s floodgates had opened over us.

The beauty of unshakable faith is that it does not depend on what we see but on who God is. My wife’s faith started with a simple need in the kitchen, but it blossomed into a testimony that strengthened our entire household. Faith always beautifies life because it shifts our eyes from our lack to God’s abundance.

When we dare to trust God, even in the smallest matters, He proves Himself faithful in ways that surpass our expectations. Our present challenges may feel heavy, but through faith, they become stepping stones toward a future filled with glory. “For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us.” — Romans 8:18

May our faith grow stronger each day, drawing us closer to God’s promises and opening doors of miracles in our lives. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
